Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in San Francisco, CA. The role offers 35 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, and you will evaluate, treat, and educate patients across hospitals and clinics as part of a dedicated clinical team.

Requirements include a valid PT license in California and current BLS certification; preferred qualifications include a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Experience seen as beneficial; new grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and others to optimize care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and body mechanics.
• Maintain safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Participate in discharge planning and ongoing professional development.
