Job Details

• Position Description: Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. Responsibilities include performing initial and ongoing assessments of patient conditions, establishing, revising, and evaluating care plans involving the patient and their family. Implements therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques suitable for various medical conditions. Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students, and support personnel.
• Required Qualifications: Valid drivers license or state ID, professional profile, three professional references, and a current resume. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in inpatient care.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week. Includes a minimum of 2 weekend days per month, with additional opportunities available.
• Additional Information: The clinician will work in a fast-paced environment at a Level 2 trauma center specializing in neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, oncological, and general medical conditions. Responsibilities include working on all hospital units, which are mostly located in one tower, and engaging regularly with the interdisciplinary team. The department comprises approximately 45-50 associates, including occupational and speech therapists. The team uses Cerner electronic medical records, and training will be provided to prepare for clinical responsibilities.
