Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This travel PT position requires 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts) for a 13-week duration, with a start date of 12/07/2026.

The assignment offers guaranteed hours and a tax-free stipend, subject to confirmation. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of PT experience, with 1 year preferred, and must hold a BLS certification and current state licensing.

Qualifications

• 6 months of PT experience required; 1 year preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• State-specific PT licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs and develop a plan of care for acute care settings.
• supervise PTAs and therapy staff as needed.
• Document outcomes and progress according to state and payor guidelines.
• Coordinate with physicians and Medical Center staff to ensure team-based care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Perform patient evaluations and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Utilize hospital computer systems for daily tasks.
