TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA. The role requires 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be accepted) and state licensing with BLS.

Expect 40 hours per week, days shift, in an acute care setting. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and executing a plan of care, supervising staff, documenting according to guidelines, and collaborating with medical center teams to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of PT experience; 6 months accepted for exceptional candidate
• BLS certification and state licensure required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; acute care knowledge of anatomy/physiology

Aufgaben

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines
• Understand PT board rules and state regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-based care
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate/create plan of care
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes
• Use hospital computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines
