Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Atchison, Kansas. This travel role offers 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift and competitive pay along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualified candidates must hold a physical therapy license and BLS certification; Doctorate preferred. Excellent clinical and communication skills are essential, and new grads are welcome to apply. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in varied care settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs and treatment plans.
• Implement therapy treatments to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Contribute to discharge planning and community/home-based transitions.
