Job summary

Aura Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Riverside, California to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments, developing personalized, evidence‑based rehabilitation plans.

You will use manual therapy and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility and reduce pain, educate patients and caregivers, document outcomes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Excellent clinical and communication abilities with strong critical thinking.
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and perform history-taking to determine rehab needs.
• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs.
• Operate and manage rehabilitation equipment safely.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and prevention.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in professional development and quality assurance activities.
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth patient transitions.
