Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Houston, TX. The right PT should have experience and must have BLS and state-specific licensing. Position is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, with days, 8-hour shifts. Travel and immediate start in Houston, TX.

New grads are encouraged to apply. TotalMed Allied provides a pay package based on 8-hour shifts and a tax-free stipend amount to be determined, with ongoing support for travel assignments.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines.
• Understand the PT board's rules and regulations for the state.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as needed.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation according to state and insurance guidelines.
