Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Gainesville, TX. The role requires 1 year of PT experience, or 6 months for exceptional candidates, with BLS and Texas licensure. Duties include supervising PTAs, documentation, and coordinating care with hospital staff.

Expect 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, and a tax-free stipend. Travel employment explores diverse clinical settings with guaranteed hours and weekly pay in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience required; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• BLS and state licensing are required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and to bend/stoop as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Coordinate with Medical Center staff and physicians on plan of care.
• Understand and apply adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as needed.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely documentation per state/insurer guidelines.
