Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Shreveport, LA. The role offers 40 hours per week, dayshift, and start date of 11/02/2026.

You will evaluate, treat, and educate patients across hospital, clinic, and rehab settings while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements include a valid PT license and current BLS, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs.
• Implement therapy plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Document evaluations and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and safety.
