Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Florence, South Carolina. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve mobility and reduce pain, in settings such as hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers.

The position requires an active Physical Therapy license and current BLS certification. Preferred candidates hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and can work with diverse teams in a fast-paced travel

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests, examinations, and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and maintain devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management techniques.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development to stay current with best practices.
• Assist with discharge planning for transitions to home or community settings.
