Job summary

TotalMed Allied recruits a Physical Therapist for an immediate travel assignment in El Paso, TX. The PT will provide therapy services for 13 weeks, working 40 hours per week in dayshift.

The candidate should have 1 year of experience, or 6 months for exceptional backgrounds, and must hold a BLS certification and state license. Responsibilities include supervising PTAs, billing, planning of care, and collaboration with Medical Center staff.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS certification and state licensing.
• 1 year PT experience; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• Willing to travel to El Paso, TX and work 40 hours per week.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and assist patients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the facility following guidelines.
• Develop and adjust plan of care as patient needs change.
• Interface with Medical Center staff and physicians.
• Document per state and insurance guidelines.
