Job summary

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Edgewater, Maryland. The PT will evaluate and treat patients in the acute care setting, developing and executing a plan of care with a team.

Requirements include 6 months of experience (6 months accepted for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state-specific licensing. 40 hours/week, days shift, 26 weeks, travel position with potential tax-free stipends.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of PT experience; new grads considered.
• BLS certification and state-specific PT licensure required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for care coordination.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care and modify as patient status changes.
• Document timely and accurate records per state/insurance guidelines.
