Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is sought for a position in the area. The role involves supporting clinical interventions through evidence-based practices, providing rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders. The PTA will work under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist to ensure comprehensive patient care in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid State Licensure for a Physical Therapist Assistant; at least 1 year of PTA experience; experience in long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation; completion of Level II clinical experience; flexibility to work as per schedule and requirements.
• Ability to support and supervise students under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Strong communication skills to document patient progress, treatment plans, and collaboration with other healthcare team members.
• Participation in meetings such as patient care conferences, utilization reviews, and rehabilitation meetings.
• Commitment to adherence to the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and State practice acts, ethics, and professional conduct.
• The ability to assist with obtaining necessary durable medical equipment (DME) or supplies, as needed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in skilled nursing facilities or rehabilitation settings is desirable.
• Additional Information: The position is scheduled to begin on 09/21/2026 and end on 12/21/2026, with no on-call or weekend requirements.
