Job summary

Step Up Rehab is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work travel assignments across Florida, joining Ybor City Center for Rehabilitation and Healing and Tampa Lakes Health and Rehabilitation Center. The role supports PT-led plans, helping residents regain mobility in skilled nursing facilities.

You’ll complete 13-week assignments, collaborate with PTs and care teams, and bring energy to facilities in need.

Qualifications

• Accredited PTA program completed.
• Active Florida PTA license or eligibility.
• Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support PT-led treatment plans to improve mobility and functional outcomes.
• Complete 13-week assignments at skilled nursing facilities across Florida.
• Bring energy and skill to facilities that need immediate support.
• Collaborate closely with PTs, residents, and care teams.

Work inside the dedicated therapy gyms within these skilled nursing facilities, helping residents regain function and independence through skilled, compassionate care.
