Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Topeka, Kansas. You will support patients recovering from injuries or illness under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

This travel PTA role offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, full medical benefits, housing support, and travel and license reimbursement, with opportunities to work in diverse SNF settings nationwide.

Qualifications

• Active State License required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• NPTE certification for PTAs (FSBPT).

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients in SNF settings to improve mobility and function.
• Document progress and communicate with supervising PT.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education)
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs, administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT).

Assignment Details

• 8-hour shifts.
