Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a Danville, Illinois assignment. The role is in a Skilled Nursing Facility with days shifts, 40 hours per week, for 13 weeks. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain movement and independence.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Physical Therapy, an IL PTA license, and BLS certification. Prior SNF experience and documentation in EMR are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Illinois PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in a SNF or long-term care setting preferred.
• Experience with mobility training, transfers, therapeutic exercise, and fall prevention preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with mobility training, transfers, therapeutic exercise, and fall prevention.
• Document care in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with licensed PT and care team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support care delivery as the PTA rotates between two facilities in Danville, IL.

Minimum Qualifications
