Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Salisbury, Maryland. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Assignment length is 13 weeks with a Monday–Friday schedule and 8-hour shifts. Comprehensive benefits, housing and travel reimbursement are provided for travelers.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active State License is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
• MD PTA license to start.
• BLS is required to start.
• HB/ Hepatitis B vaccination required to start.
• TB test required to start.
• Flu vaccination required to start.
• Tdap vaccination required to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients recovering from injuries or illness to improve mobility and function.
• Document patient progress and participate in care planning.
• Collaborate with PTs and clinical staff to ensure quality care.

• Cases seen include Achilles Tendonitis, ACL Tear, Back Pain Post-Operative, Calf Strain, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Disc Herniation, Fractures and Stress Fractures, Generalized Low Back Pain, Meniscus Tear, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Plantar Fasciitis, Postural Dysfunction, Rotator Cuff Non-Surgical Intervention, Rotator Cuff Repair Post-Operative Care, SI Joint Dysfunction, Stenosis, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, TMJ Dysfunction, and Total Joint Replacement.
