Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Adrian, Michigan. Immediate opening with 35 hours per week and a 7-hour shift each day.

Requires 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state-specific licensing. You will evaluate and implement plans of care for diverse patient populations in acute care, coordinating with center staff.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
