Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Pasco, Washington. The PT will work 40 hours per week, days shift, in an acute care setting, with potential for travel assignments.

Knowledge of PT board rules and state licensing is required, with 6 months (1 year preferred) of experience. Responsibilities include evaluating and implementing a plan of care, supervising PTAs, and billing per facility guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of PT experience; 1 year preferred, exceptional candidates with background may be accepted.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• PTs should be able to stand/walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and supporting staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and utilize it as needed.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Document timely and accurately following state and insurance guidelines.
