Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Plains, Montana. The role is a 13-week engagement at 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts. Start date is 11/09/2026; travel experience preferred, though 6 months may be acceptable for strong candidates.

The PT will evaluate, develop, and implement plans of care across acute care settings. Requirements include 6 months of experience, BLS, and state-specific licensure.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing are required.
• PT should be able to stand and walk for long periods and have solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with Medical Center personnel to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment needs and usage.
• Evaluate and modify the plan of care as patient conditions change.
• Utilize hospital computer systems for daily tasks and documentation.
