Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Traveling Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Purcell, OK. The PT will evaluate and treat patients in the acute care setting, coordinating with the care team and supervising support staff.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred) and holds BLS and a state license. This travel role offers 8-hour day shifts, weekly pay, and the opportunity to advance clinically while serving diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of experience; new grads welcome.
• BLS certification and state PT license required.
• Ability to stand/walk long periods; bend or stoop.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within setting following facility guidelines.
• Understand PT board rules and regulations in respective state.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following guidelines.
