Job summary

Travel Physical Therapist (PT) needed to evaluate, develop, and implement patient care plans in acute care settings. This role requires supervising PTAs and support staff and collaborating with medical personnel to ensure team-focused care.

Responsibilities include documenting and billing per guidelines, assessing patient conditions, and using adaptive equipment, with 8-hour day shifts and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of PT experience; new graduates welcome.
• Valid state license and BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PTAs and support staff.
• Bill and document accurately following facility and insurance guidelines.
• Collaborate with medical personnel to ensure team-focused care.
• Assess patient conditions, create and modify care plans as needed.
• Understand and utilize adaptive equipment.
• Operate computer systems for daily tasks.
• Ensure compliance with state and professional regulations.
