Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Oberlin, Kansas. You will evaluate and implement a plan of care for patients in the acute care setting, collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires at least 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be considered), BLS certification, and active state licensure; travel duties include 40 hours per week and flexibility to cover shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience required; exceptional candidates may be considered with 6 months.
• BLS certification and active state licensure required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care.
• Supervise PTAs and therapy technicians as needed.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with medical center staff and physicians to coordinate care.
• Provide timely documentation per state and insurance guidelines.
