Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist to evaluate patients in an acute care setting, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal outcomes.

You will manage diverse caseloads, potentially float to Med Surg, Ortho, ED, or Step Down, and contribute to patient recovery with compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of employment.
• Minimum 2 years inpatient PT experience in trauma/high acuity settings.
• BLS certification is required.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team.

Job description

Role: Travel Physical Therapist in an acute care setting, responsible for evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment, addressing complex medical needs.
• Conduct evaluations and develop effective rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years inpatient Physical Therapy experience, including Level 1 trauma or high acuity settings.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records.
• Valid PT license, BLS certification, and SSN/DOB verification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and adaptability.
