Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 26-week assignment in Newton, MA. The role offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts during days, and a chance to work across hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers with a strong clinical team.

You’ll evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility and reduce pain, using evidence-based plans in a travel setting, while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• ,Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Preferred: Doctorate degree in physical therapy
• New grads welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests to identify functional limitations
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
• Maintain safe treatment environment following infection control protocols
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions
