American Traveler seeks an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 20-bed critical access hospital in Princeton, Illinois. This travel assignment provides 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with 8.5 hours per day in an outpatient-dominant caseload.

Requirements include a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (or prereq degrees for older licenses), active PT licensure or application, and BLS within 90 days. EPIC EMR is used for documentation.

• Active state PT license or proof of application with ETA.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year outpatient experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients to restore physical function in outpatient and some inpatient settings.
• Document patient status and communicate with the treatment team.
• Assist PT technicians and aides when needed.

Details

• Outpatient setting with 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient caseload
• Patient population includes general orthopedic, neurological, and gait conditions
• 20-bed critical access hospital
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week with 12 hours of non-billable orientation

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy required for those licensed after 2016; bachelor's or master's degree accepted for those licensed prior to 2016
• Active state Physical Therapy license required, or proof of application initiated with Authorization to Test Letter and testing scheduled within 60 days
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• License required if applicable
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills required
• Proficiency with Microsoft software and computer systems required
