Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Princeton, Illinois. The role centers on outpatient care in a 20-bed critical access hospital, with a 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient caseload.

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with 8:30 AM–5:00 PM shifts and an orientation period. Requires 1+ year of experience and BLS; licensure active or in process in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy required for those licensed after 2016; bachelor’s or master’s degree accepted for those licensed prior to 2016.
• Active state Physical Therapy license or proof of application with ATT and testing scheduled within 60 days.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients to restore physical function.
• Document patient status and communicate with the treatment team.
• May assist PT technicians and assistants in resolving patient care issues.
• Provide care within outpatient/inpatient mix and adhere to schedule.

Requirements

• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire

• Proficiency with Microsoft software and computer systems required
