Job Summary

Physical Therapist Physical Therapist Inpatient. The position provides primarily outpatient physical therapy services, with limited inpatient evaluations in acute care and swing-bed settings. The caseload primarily consists of orthopedic patients, with additional patients experiencing general weakness or neurological conditions.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Graduate of a certified school; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); minimum of 1 year of experience.


• Schedule: Day shift, 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m., MondayFriday; 8-hour shifts; 40 hours per week. Minimal weekend coverage may be required approximately once every 23 months for up to 13 hours. No holiday coverage is required.


• Additional Information: The role involves treating approximately 812 patients per day in 3045-minute blocks. Approximately 90% of the workload is outpatient orthopedic care, with 510% involving general weakness or neurological conditions. Inpatient evaluations in acute care and swing-bed settings generally account for 10% or less of the workload, with follow-up care typically provided by a physical therapist assistant. Documentation is completed using Cerner. Clean, professional workplace attire or scrubs are required.
