Job Summary

Physical Therapist Inpatient in Yuma, Arizona. This position involves providing acute inpatient physical therapy services in a facility setting, focusing on patient care related to total joints, cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and sepsis. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details

• Schedule: 8 or 10 hour days with flex weekend coverage, 2‑3 days per month; minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Arizona Physical Therapist license in hand/active (will review compact eligible candidates), BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, at least one year of experience outside of clinicals, understanding of pathology, lab values, and interdisciplinary communication.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with total joints, CVA, CHF, COPD, sepsis cases; knowledge of EPIC charting system; experience covering ED and Med Surg areas.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Start date is fixed on 6/29 or 7/13.
  • Unit notes specify the unit as Acute Inpatient with specific case types.
  • No more than 5 days of return to office (RTO).
  • No self‑scheduling; holidays to be rotated.
  • Client may cancel hours equivalent to the weekly guaranteed hours for the assignment (36, 40, or 48 hours for a 13‑week assignment; policies are doubled for 26‑week assignments).
  • No facility, hospital, or employer names are included, only generic descriptions.
