American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in San Andreas, California, primarily outpatient at a Critical Access Hospital with some inpatient care. You will work 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, Tue–Sat, 7:30am–4:30pm with a lunch break, and are expected to float as needed.

The role requires 2+ years of PT experience, active CA license, BLS, and a driver''s license, with Cerner EMR in use and 2 professional references. Local candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy in a 13-week acute care assignment at a CAH, primarily outpatient with some inpatient care.
• 50% outpatient and 50% inpatient? (based on description that is 90% outpatient, 10% inpatient) 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient care as noted.
• Follow the schedule: Tue–Sat, 7:30–16:30 with a 1-hour lunch; 8-hour shifts; every other weekend.
• Use Cerner EMR for documentation and care planning.

Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment at a Critical Access Hospital, primarily serving outpatient cases with Cerner EMR.

Details

• Acute care setting at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
• Approximately 90% outpatient care and 10% inpatient care
• Tuesday through Saturday schedule, day shift from 0730–1630 with a one-hour lunch break
• Saturday shifts are inpatient only, typically requiring approximately 2.5 hours of work
• 8-hour shifts; every other weekend (EOW) required
• First to float policy applies
• Cerner EMR used in this position
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Active state PT license required at time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted — license required if applicable
• Active BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted
• A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
