Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Montesano, WA seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting 11/09/2026. This position offers a 40-hour workweek, dayshift, and a travel-friendly schedule.

The PT will supervise PTAs and support staff, bill per facility guidelines, and coordinate care with Medical Center staff while maintaining regulatory compliance. Candidates should have at least 1 year of PT experience (6 months for exceptional candidates) and possess BLS and state licensing.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.
• BLS and state-specific licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Montesano, WA. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.

Requirements

Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. PTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
