American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Rehab position at a long-term care/rehab facility in Mound City, Missouri. The assignment requires 1+ year of PT experience, LTC or rehab setting background, MO license (Compact accepted), and consideration for new grads with Level II experience.

Schedule features 40 hours/week (days, 8-hour shifts), with no weekends or on-call requirements. Assignment length is 13 weeks starting mid-October 2026, with potential supervision of assistants

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and rehabilitates patients with physical functioning disorders.
• Develops and adjusts individualized plans of care based on patient progress and outcomes.
• Administers manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, ambulation training, modalities, and wound care as needed.
• Provides consultation to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.
• Documents all treatment and regulatory information in the electronic documentation system.
• Participates in meetings including patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.
• May supervise physical therapist assistants, rehab aides, and/or students.
• Maintains adherence to APTA and state practice standards, code of conduct, and ethics.
