TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Limon, Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate and modify the plan of care as indicated based on patient condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Experience: Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply. For an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. The role often requires 1 year of experience as preferred.
• Licensing: BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Physical requirements: ability to stand and walk for long periods; ability to bend, lean or stoop.
• Knowledge: solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
