HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Highlands, North Carolina. This position requires a 40-hour workweek, typically dayshift, with responsibilities within Highlands-Cashiers Hospital and Rehab Services.

The ideal candidate will have licensed PT credentials, hospital rehab experience, and the ability to evaluate and treat patients with a strong rehab focus in an inpatient setting. BLS is often required.

• Must have the ability to evaluate and treat patients admitted to the hospital with a strong rehab mindset.
• Procedures performed on unit include comprehensive OT evaluations and treatments.
• Certifications required: standard OT state license and BLS.

General Information

Unit Specifics:

• Scrub Color(s): any
• Number of Beds : 24
• Patient Ratios : workflow is one patient per hour
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Critical Care access hospital, with predominantly swing bed patients.Rehab focused.On average there are 2 CNAs per shift, and rehab has a tech 20 hours per week.
• Type of equipment: All lift equipment is available, large rehab gym with different pieces of equipment
• Documentation system: Cerner
• Scheduling requirements: set schedule of Monday-Friday (8:00- 4:30)
• Floating policy: will float to Eckerd Living Center if needed (which is in the same building).Primary location will be Highlands-Cashiers Hospital
• Patient Experience requirements: Prefer 1 year of experience at minimum
• Certifications: BLS required
• All new Rehab Gym with fully functioning kitchen and laundry set up.Ability to provide therapy out-doors as well.

Requested Skill Set:
