Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited physical therapy program required
• Current state PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Experience working directly with patients in a long-term care or hospital setting required
• Strong documentation skills and excellent verbal communication skills required
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care across the patient population served

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include patient evaluation, developing individualized treatment plans, hands‑on therapy such as massage, therapeutic exercise instruction, and progress documentation, Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members including speech therapists to achieve optimal patient outcomes, Reports patient progress and status to providers, family members, and members of the patient care committee, Attends in‑services, continuing education sessions, and departmental staff meetings.
