MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Orlando, FL. Start date 11/23/2026; 40 hours per week; evening shift.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTEM
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or in process for licensure
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals per patient capacity.
• Set realistic goals, document patient condition, and educate patients and families in PT methods.
• Develop a plan of care for each PT patient.
• Provide skilled PT services/interventions per physician orders.
• Assess needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals.
• Collaborate with disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals.

Duties Responsibilities

• Responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services, which includes providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record the patient's condition, and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
