Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Georgetown, Texas is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment starting 10/15/2026, typically 40 hours per week. This travel role requires coordination with the Medical Center team and supervision of therapy staff to support patient care pathways.

Applicants should have at least 6 months of PT experience, BLS and state licensing. New grads are encouraged to apply; the position emphasizes adherence to state regulations and professional guidelines.

Qualifications

Tasks

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state-specific licensing. Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. PTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

BLS, 1 Year* Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
