American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, requiring acute care experience including ICU/CCU coverage.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the Physical Therapy department
• 72-bed facility with a team of 2 PTs, 1 OT, and PRN Speech Therapy support
• Patients include those undergoing open heart procedures, TAVR, and LVAD implants
• Shift runs 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Weekend rotation approximately every 3 to 4 weekends, during which the PT may be the only therapist on duty
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Meditech EMR

• Scrub color requirement: Caribbean blue or khaki bottoms with a navy polo
• Hospital has received multiple local and national recognitions in 2023/2024
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• Strong attention to safety, time management, and high-level coordination skills valued
