Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Clarksdale, MS. The role runs for 17 weeks with a 35-hour work week and a day shift. Requires BLS and state licensing; 1 year of experience preferred, 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates. You will supervise PTAs and coordinate plan of care with the Medical Center team.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of PT experience; 1 year preferred for exceptional candidates with appropriate background.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• PTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods and understand anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate/create a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines.
