Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Suffolk, Virginia. The role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and benefits as part of a travel package.

Essential duties include evaluating and treating patients, developing rehab plans, and coordinating with the care team to ensure quality outcomes. Travel positions require licensure, BLS, and a strong clinical skill set.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and histories to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise and injury prevention.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.
