Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Deer Lodge, Montana. The role is 13 weeks long, with a 36-hour work week and day shifts, focusing on overseeing PTAs, documenting care, and ensuring compliance with board rules.

Requires 6 months of PT experience (6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state licensing. Travel pay details and tax-free stipends are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Understand and comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify plan as indicated.
• Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
