Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Lancaster, PA. This 13-week engagement requires 35 hours per week, with 8-hour days, and travel PT must have 1 year of experience (6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates).

Ideal candidates hold BLS and state licensure. Responsibilities include supervising PTAs, planning and adjusting care, and coordinating with Medical Center staff. Benefits include weekly pay, 401k, CEU, and more.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged.
• BLS certification and active state licensure required.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff
• Bill within the setting following guidelines
• Understand PT board rules and state regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel to ensure a team-based plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation
