Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Jonesboro, GA. The role offers 40 hours per week, dayshift, with a travel employment arrangement and a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications include an active PT license and current BLS certification; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred, with strong clinical and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within hospital and rehab settings.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions and identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and calibrate devices as needed.
• Document evaluations, interventions and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and self-management.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control.
• Support discharge planning for smooth transitions.
