Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Kennesaw, GA. The PT will evaluate and treat patients, develop personalized rehab plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, patient education, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards while supporting a fast-paced travel environment across hospitals and clinics.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in Georgia
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• DPT preferred; Licensure/certifications may be required for travel assignments

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify functional limitations to determine treatment needs
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and patient goals
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate PT equipment safely and ensure proper maintenance of devices
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management techniques
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety guidelines
• Engage in professional development and quality assurance activities
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth transitions in community or home-based settings
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
