Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing‑Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Fort Wayne, IN. The position offers 40 hours per week, days shift, and working with a supportive clinical team to deliver evidence-based care in hospitals or clinics.

The ideal candidate will have a licensed PT with BLS on file; new grads are welcome. Doctorate is preferred, with strong clinical skills and communication.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• New graduates welcome to apply; Doctorate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and maintain devices.
• Document evaluations and outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to coordinate care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Ensure infection control and patient safety during therapy.
• Support discharge planning and transitions to home care.
