Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Jackson, Mississippi. The role offers 40 hours per week, an 8-hour shift, and a 13-week duration with travel benefits and support.

The ideal candidate will hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy with NPTE, have at least one year of experience, current licensure, and CPR certification. Placement is with one of our healthcare clients and includes credentialing assistance.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy or Bachelor's in Physical Therapy with NPTE.
• Graduate from an accredited program.
• Minimum one year experience.
• Current state PT license or in process for licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Other requirements determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients and provide direct PT care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with measurable goals.
• Document patient condition and progress and educate patients/families.
• Set realistic goals and coordinate with physician directives.
• Develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled PT services per physician orders.
• Collaborate with disciplines to evaluate team goals for each patient.
