Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Hueytown, Alabama. The 13-week engagement requires 40 hours per week with 8-hour daytime shifts, and it calls for active BLS and state licensing.

The PT will supervise PTAs, handle billing per facility rules, coordinate with Medical Center staff, and develop plans of care while maintaining compliant documentation. New grads are encouraged to apply; candidates should be prepared to adapt to a travel setting and

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and handle physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify plan of care as indicated.
• Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
