Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Farmington, NM. The 13-week contract requires 36 hours per week, with a 9-hour day shift. Immediate opening; 1 year of experience preferred; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.

Must have BLS and state licensure. You will oversee PTAs, handle billing, ensure compliance with PT board rules, collaborate with Medical Center staff, evaluate patients, and document per guidelines.

Qualifications

• 6 months of PT experience; new grads welcome.
• BLS certification and state licensure required.
• Ability to stand/walk long periods; solid anatomy/physiology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting per facility guidelines.
• Comply with state PT board rules.
• Interface with medical center staff and physicians on care plans.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care.
• Document according to state/insurance guidelines.
