Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Roanoke, Virginia. The role requires a Doctorate or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy with NPTE, and active licensure in the state or in progress, plus CPR certification.

The assignment is a 13-week travel contract, with 40 hours per week and day shifts. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing plans of care, providing PT services per physician orders, and collaborating with the care

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE.
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or be in the process of licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
• Provides skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
