Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in San Andreas, CA. This role requires a minimum of 6 months experience (1 year preferred) with BLS and state licensing.

The PT will manage evaluation and plan of care in acute care settings, coordinate with PTAs, and document per regulatory standards. Position details include 40 hours per week, days shift, 8-hour shifts, and a travel employment arrangement.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
